Finding Daily Motivation

Finding daily motivation can be incredibly powerful. Some days, we need all the reasons to sit up in bed, prepare to throw on that hoodie and lace up those shoes. Recently, I have been motivated by the sky. There is something remarkable about pausing a run at 530am, taking my earbuds out, and staring up at that beautiful sky for some early morning perspective. I run every day because I like preparing for the challenges of the day with the challenges of a run. I have now added practicing presence with that beautiful morning sky. And what happens when your eyes open and that motivation is gone? You are considering comfort over achievement. You find yourself hitting snooze or gazing over at the corner of the room where your sneakers seem to be staring back at you with judgment. You are just…not…feeling it. This is where routine comes into play. It is commonly understood that it takes 21 days to develop a habit or routine. When motivation is weaning, it is helpful to fall back on the routines you have built to live a healthy lifestyle. Routine exercise can help you eat healthier, move more often, and sleep more consistently. A routine will guide you toward building the life you have always envisioned. This is why Storm & Harmony has developed a 21-day challenge. Start building your routines today that will define your life tomorrow. If you could use some support, feel free to reach out to Stormandharmonywellness.com. We look forward to hearing your story and helping you build that life you envision.
